A Coventry Credit Union Visa® Check Card, is a debit card that works
like a check, only better. When you make purchases, the amount
is deducted directly from your checking account.
Just use your Visa® Check Card when you are ready to pay.
It works fast, so there's no need to write checks or fumble
for change. Plus, you'll save on trips to the ATM
and can leave your checkbook at home. The Visa® Check Card
is accepted everywhere that Visa® is accepted.
How does it work?
Debit card transactions are automatically deducted from your
checking account and typically posted within 24 hours of your purchase.
So you can check your updated balance and transaction record on MemberNet
at www.coventrycu.org
or dial the touchtone teller at 1-800-822-8077.
There are no fees when you use your Visa® Check Card for purchases
or when you use your card of point of sale purchases that require
you to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN), rather
than signing a receipt. Overdraft protection is also available.
Security and Account Tracking
When you sign for your purchases, your money comes directly from
your checking account, but you also get security protections that
help prevent, detect and resolve fraud. In addition, every month
you'll also receive a checking account statement that details your purchases,
including merchant name, location, date and amount. So it's easy to
see where your money goes.
ATM Access
The Visa® Check Card also offers convenient, 24-hour access to your
Coventry Credit Union accounts at thousands of ATM machines
that are part of the MoneyPass®, NYCE® and Cirrus® networks

Coventry Credit
Union offers a variety of savings certificates to meet your financial
needs. The minimum balance for a 6-month CD to a 3-year CD is $1000.00.
The minimum balance for a 4-year CD to a 7-year CD is $5000.00. All
certificates are subject to penalties for early withdrawals or closeouts.

Union also offers IRA accounts to meet your specific needs. You may
choose either a Traditional IRA with tax deferred earnings, a Roth IRA
allowing contributions after age 70 ½, or an Education IRA to help pay

- Holiday and Vacation Club Accounts earn a BONUS WEEK in lieu of interest.
- 50 equal deposits are required to earn the BONUS WEEK.
